The complete renovation project for this 40,000 square foot building consisted of mold removal/remediation and replacement of outdated 1960’s finishes. The area is divided into two separate areas: TRAIL program (Teens Reaching Adult Independent Living) and the PRTF (Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility). These areas house a boy’s wing, a girl’s wing, administration offices, full-service commercial kitchen and dining, and a CPA office.
All wall and ceiling sheetrock was removed and replaced requiring new framing. The underground sewer system was replaced, new mechanical, electrical and plumbing was replaced and installed, resinous epoxy flooring was installed in high-traffic restrooms and in the commercial kitchen. New Polygol fluted unbreakable windows were installed, and new access control doors and security surveillance systems were all installed.
