This project was one of three parts for the Gatti/Gaston Medical Office Building consisting of tenant finish for Advanced Dental Studio for Dr. Joseph Gatti.
Dr. Gatti wanted to create a flowing feeling throughout the exam rooms and consultation rooms by leaving lots of openness. Walls are curvilinear throughout and begin at human height soaring upward to a height of 12’. Another requirement of the space involved space itself. The overall goal was to create an atmosphere of calm, comfort, and serenity. Paint colors, comfortable fabrics, and custom cabinetry all help to achieve this goal.
Dr. Gatti commissioned a special work of art for one entire wall that would be fronted with a sheet of opaque Plexiglas to soften the colors and shapes of the graphics behind it creating another way to “cushion” the visual experience of the studio.
