Mar Lan Construction was selected as the Construction Manager at Risk for this project. The project called for construction of a 20,000 square foot facility located at the Treatment and Recovery Campus. This state-of-the-art facility is matched by only a few similar facilities in the United States. Combining many services under one roof, this joint venture involved LMH Health, Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center, and Douglas County.
It took 13 months to construct this building and do the extensive site improvements required. The space includes multiple exam rooms, consultation space, 23- and 72-hour observation rooms, intake and discharge rooms and various lab spaces. Additionally, there is support space needed for the staff, waiting room, laundry, restrooms, break rooms and the necessary mechanical and utilitarian spaces.
This building completes a group of buildings that make up the campus, each offering different levels of care and services. The Tier II and Tier III housing or “Cottages at Green Lake” as well as the Transitions building round out this campus. Mar Lan Construction was the CM at Risk on these projects as well.
