The Stull Community of Faith Church chose Mar Lan Construction as their construction partner after the church suffered a fire. The repairs and restoration that followed involved remediation of the smoke and water from the fire and firefighting efforts and replacement of the structural elements that were damaged as well as extensive restoration of the 100-year-old plaster wall and ceiling systems affected.
Mechanical and electrical systems affected by the fire were replaced including updated lighting, audio systems and controls. Restoration and finishes included the refinishing of all wood trim, wood pew benches, new suspended ceiling systems and new paint surfaces throughout the building. Restoration involved the stairs, balusters and railings in the tower building as well as preservation of the central pendant fixture that hangs center of the Sanctuary and original to the building.
