Mar Lan Construction was selected as the construction partner for the First Baptist Church Fire Restoration. The repairs were centered in the worship center and required structural repairs as well as new finishes. The facility was constructed of exposed laminated wood support systems that had been impacted by the fire. Careful measures were taken to ensure repairs were completed and blended seamlessly, disguising where new came into contact with the existing. In just a few short months, the restoration was complete, and the congregation was able to return to their normal worship schedule.
Everything seems to have a silver lining, and for this project it was a final crowning glory – the 45’ tall cross was repainted just prior to their grand re-opening.
