Mar Lan Construction was selected by Douglas County as the Construction Manager for the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds project. This 36-acre tract of land would undergo an extensive rework of the existing infrastructure including utilities, site pavement both vehicular and pedestrian, RV overnight parking amenities, site lighting, directional signage and extensive landscaping. The Outdoor Arena venue utilized strategically designed stacked retaining walls that doubled as seating and made way for casually sloped grassy viewing areas. Included in the project was vertical construction of new buildings, a 7,500 square foot Meeting Hall, a 55,000 square foot Open Pavilion and new Restroom building was constructed to round out this project.
