Can you say CMU! CMU (Concrete Masonry Units) are being utilized as the exterior walls for the new building additions at the West Franklin High School and the Appanoose Elementary. Shown are some photos with views from inside the Storm Shelter where 12” thick reinforced CMU walls are utilized and views of exterior walls that are 8” thick reinforced CMU. For the majority of the interior partitions, 6” and 4” CMU will be utilized. The majority of the exterior CMU Walls will receive a multi-color brick veneer.
