Inspired by the late Christo and Jeanne-Claude, the famous artists known for their environmental art installations, we think the PBPN Dental Clinic project could be considered wrapped art! Not exactly, although the project is looking pretty colorful. In truth, the concrete forms for the soon-to-be new walls at the Prairie Band Potawatomi Dental Clinic have been wrapped in blankets to protect them from the cold weather. Concrete needs to have time to “cure” and the temps need to be controlled so the addition of the blankets helps keep the concrete from reacting to the extreme cold temperatures at the project site.
