This is a unique project we are doing for MCM (Midwest Concrete Materials) at the Perry plant. The challenge was to build a structure around the “mobile” plant. The design called for short foundation walls that would surround the facility, new slab on grade, steel support columns and beams, and finally a wood-framed structure with metal wall panels and roofing to enclose the plant from the weather. At any given time, with some minor tasks, the plant can be removed from the structure. Brian Lantis has been overseeing this project and it is moving along nicely.
