With the unusually nice weather we’ve been having, we are able to make some really good headway on exterior items that normally would not be going on this time of year at the Douglas County Treatment & Recovery Center. The main entry of the building is nearing completion. Almost all of the site concrete, such as the curb, sidewalks and patios are completed. Painters have started applying final colors to the building’s exterior. The stonework shown will dress up the trash enclosure. Landscape is nearing completion, we are even able to get the sod installed. Dan Connelly, project superintendent, is busy balancing his time between the exterior and the interior. Much more to come on this great project.
