An update on the Crossing at KU project would entail lots of activities. The formwork shows the concrete drain basin for the project. The concrete structure when completed will have utilized 175 yards of structural concrete. There are two synthetic turf fields that are set up to play multiple sports and will be the new practice field for the University of Kansas Marching Band. The perimeter curbs for the turf field are in place and the underground drain system installed. Utilities for both private and public improvements continue to be installed. Brandon Abel, job superintendent, is working closely with Kevin Markley, project manager, and both are coordinating with subcontractors to keep everything moving smoothly and quickly.
