Mar Lan Construction received the nicest email from Becky Price, Executive Director of the Ballard Center about our participation in their Adopt A Family program. Here is what she said ~
“It took my breath away! I am truly blessed to have had a front-row seat at witnessing the big hearts of our community, the joy of giving is clearly demonstrated through the Adopt-A-Family program. With your help, over 600 children and parents celebrated the season with gifts specially selected for them. It was truly a poignant experience to witness, not only the excitement of the families picking up their gifts, but the joy of donors delivering their donations for a child they have never met. When you are presented with an act of generosity – whether it’s a small encouragement, a much-needed word of support, or gifts for Christmas – we’ve been given a gift that helps keep us going, that lifts us up, and that help makes our life better.
