Through an interview process, Mar Lan Construction was selected as Central National Bank’s general contractor for a major expansion effort for the Lawrence area.
The first phase of this expansion was the construction of two branch banks, the Nieder branch, and the Harper branch. These banks are wood and steel framed structures with brick and cast stone veneers and standing seam metal roofing. The bank design incorporates the use of large windows on both the exterior walls and the interior office walls. The light coming through the clerestory vaulted ceiling in the lobby area creates an open atmosphere.
