If you’ve driven on 6th Street in Lawrence lately, you may not have noticed a lot of activity at the corner of 6th & Michigan. That is, until this week. Most notably the utility companies have been by the jobsite to mark locates for utilities for the Heartland Community Health Clinic that will be the new tenants at the old Anderson Rentals building. Mar Lan has been working diligently indoors at the building to completely gut and clean out the building and get the rough-in plumbing installed that will be needed for the clinic. More exterior work includes removing the metal façade. We can guarantee that you will be seeing lots more progress pics on this really great project in the weeks to come. Keep checking back!
