The Douglas County Crisis & Recovery Center building is really beginning to take shape! It has taken a few months to finally see vertical construction taking place. The steel framework is going together quickly, masons have been laying up the walls for the safe room with framing and roofing contractors coming in soon. Dan Connelly, job superintendent, is enjoying this part of the project, managing several trades all working together to get the building shell in place.
