Lots of exciting tasks are underway at the USD 497 Educational Support Center. Interior finish crews are getting after it on the new addition that connects the two buildings while exterior crews are continuing with the façade facelift. First coats of primer and finish paint have been applied to the walls, casework has been installed and the suspended ceiling system has been installed ready for the light fixtures, air diffusers and fire suppression trim out to be completed. The main corridor at the entry and the adjoining hall will have polished exposed concrete floors. This process is underway. Shown in the photos is a 1400 pound polishing machine! Things are coming along nicely and we’re very happy with the outcome. Kelly Hockey is bringing this project to the finish line. Please keep checking back to look at the progress as this multi-faceted project continues to come together.
