Things are really moving along at the Sigma Nu Renovation and Addition project! Job superintendent Kelly Hockey and crews have been working inside and out. The building addition is well underway. Steel beams have been erected and placed and will support the second-floor addition as well as the false mansard roof system. The new sloped mansard will be constructed with structural metal stud system will have sheathing and synthetic slate shingles to closely match the exiting roof. The brick veneer continues to progress as well. New windows have been set with stark white stones for the sills. On the inside, concrete floor slabs have been completed, layout has started for the new walls and mechanical, electrical and plumbing coordination is underway.
