Demolition of the Tri Delta Sorority located at 1630 Oxford Road here in Lawrence, Kansas is underway. Earlier this year Mar Lan Construction was selected to be the Construction Manager and partner with the Tri Delta Chapter to construct a new facility. The first stage of this was to prepare the building to be demolished, which requires lots of permitting, termination of utilities and strategic thinking of how the building is safely taken down and hauled away. Chance Barritt is the project superintendent and is at the site monitoring the work that is underway. There will be a lot more information coming on this project as we begin to build back the new facility.
